Contract Manager

About the role

The Contract Manager will lead contract administration for large‑scale transportation and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and protecting the company’s commercial interests. This senior position reports to project leadership and works closely with legal, finance, and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and manage all project contracts, maintaining records, notices and ensuring proper execution and close‑out.
• Interpret contract terms, provide guidance to project teams and monitor performance against contractual requirements.
• Lead claims, disputes and change management, evaluating extensions of time, disruption, acceleration and additional costs.
• Advise on commercial risks, review financial impacts of contract changes and support cost‑control activities.
• Oversee procurement, tender evaluation, subcontractor performance and compliance with contractual procedures.
• Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks, maintaining a risk register and reporting to governance bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration; Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of experience in contract administration, commercial and claims management, with at least 10 years on major rail, metro or transportation infrastructure projects.
