Controller – Finance & Business Controlling

About the role

The Controller will be based in Riyadh and report to the SAGEA Head of Finance & Administration. You will support the Saudi Arabia, Gulf, and East Africa region by delivering planning, reporting, business partnering, and controlling services.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate planning guidelines, timelines and targets to stakeholders and analyse financial impact of assumptions.
• Support review meetings with overviews, analysis and business support, ensuring timely data submission.
• Provide operational business support on pricing, discount and profitability analysis, and recommend cost‑optimization measures.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, process accruals and provisions, and perform month‑end reconciliations.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects, ensure compliance with corporate SOPs and local regulations.
• Build internal and external networks and maintain technical expertise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field (MBA/MSc preferred).
• 5‑6 years of finance and business controlling experience, preferably in a multinational pharmaceutical company or Big‑Four firm.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and CPA/SOCPA standards.
• Proven project‑management experience.
