Corporate Development Analyst – Fintech

About the role

HALA is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to support its strategic initiatives across M&A, fundraising, and corporate projects. Based in Riyadh with a hybrid work model, you will work closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to drive growth in the fintech and SME ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end execution of M&A and strategic investment opportunities, including market screening, target identification, and outreach.
• Build and maintain financial models for valuation, business plans, and scenario analysis.
• Conduct deep‑dive market research and competitive benchmarking across fintech, payments, and SME sectors.
• Prepare high‑quality materials for senior management and board discussions, such as investment memos and strategy decks.
• Assist fundraising activities by creating investor materials, data‑room preparation, and financial analysis.
• Analyze internal performance data (GMV, cohorts, unit economics, lending portfolio) to generate actionable insights.
• Support due‑diligence processes, coordinate workstreams, and help execute deals.
• Collaborate with finance, product, and business intelligence teams on strategic initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and potential partners to identify growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 0‑3 years of analytical experience in a high‑growth environment (technology startup/scale‑up, strategy consulting, or banking).
• Strong analytical and business case development skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
