Corporate Lawyer – Senior Associate – Commercial Law Firm

About the role

We are seeking a Saudi‑qualified Corporate Senior Associate to join a leading independent law firm in Riyadh. This role offers the chance to work directly with partners on high‑value, cross‑border transactions across a variety of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Advise Saudi and international clients on corporate and commercial law matters.
• Lead and manage mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and strategic investments.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Provide guidance on company formation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Support foreign investment and licensing matters.
• Coordinate legal due‑diligence exercises and collaborate with financial advisors, regulators, and other professionals.
• Supervise junior lawyers and trainees, offering mentorship and technical guidance.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business‑development initiatives.

Required profile

• Saudi national with full rights to practice law in Saudi Arabia.
• LL.B. or equivalent degree.
• 6–10 years post‑qualification experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably from a leading Saudi, regional, or international firm.
• Proven experience advising on M&A, joint ventures, restructurings, governance and commercial contracts.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships independently and handle multiple matters simultaneously.
