Credit Manager (Saudi National)

About the role

SLS The Red Sea, a lifestyle resort on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia, is looking for a Credit Manager. The role protects the hotel's financial health by managing credit operations, overseeing accounts receivable and ensuring timely collections while keeping strong relationships with guests and business partners. It works closely with Finance, Sales, Events and Front Office.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee credit operations and accounts receivable to ensure effective financial control and healthy cash flow.
• Review and approve credit applications for corporate clients, groups and other business partners in line with hotel policy.
• Set and monitor credit limits and payment terms with the Director of Finance.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, billing and collection of outstanding payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue balances.
• Maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel partners and guests, resolving billing and payment disputes.
• Prepare monthly credit reports, aging summaries, reconciliations and bad debt provisions.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, accounting standards, company policies and internal audit requirements.
• Maintain credit and billing records in systems such as Opera, Sun Systems and Micros.
• Improve credit control, collection efficiency and financial reporting, support audits and train departments on credit policies and controls.
• Report credit performance, outstanding balances and potential risks to the Director of Finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 5 years in hotel accounting or finance, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Previous experience in luxury or lifestyle hospitality preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work across departments.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and integrity.
