Customer Service Officer – Oil & Gas Supply Chain

About the role

The Customer Service Officer will serve as the primary point of contact for customers in assigned regions, handling RFQs, quotations, and order management for APC products within the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process RFQs, preparing quotations according to approved procedures.
• Maintain the RFQ/Proposal log on the customer service server.
• Acknowledge purchase requests, coordinate with material and production planning, and commit delivery dates.
• Ensure transparent delivery plans between business units, operations, and planning teams.
• Communicate projected deliveries to internal customers on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Collaborate with production planning and regional representatives to prioritize schedules and meet customer needs.
• Conduct periodic reviews with BU management to reconcile delivery plans and address challenges.
• Update order dates accurately in Oracle and the Master Production Schedule.
• Prepare on‑time delivery reports and strive to meet OTD targets.
• Assist operations in resolving customer issues and propose equitable solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of customer service experience, preferably in Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) manufacturing and service.
• Supply chain experience is required.
• Knowledge of oil and gas downstream processes is preferred.
• Technical understanding of the oil and gas industry is advantageous.
