Customer Support Representative - Construction Equipment

About the role

FAMCO KSA, part of Al-Futtaim Automotive, is looking for a proactive, customer-focused Customer Service Representative for construction equipment. You will be the main point of contact for customers while supporting showroom operations and coordinating with the sales, aftersales, warehouse and logistics teams. The role covers customer inquiries, deliveries, order fulfilment, documentation and paperwork.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers and handle sales, service and general inquiries promptly.
• Handle customer concerns and complaints in line with company service standards.
• Support walk-in customers and coordinate their requirements with sales and aftersales.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, deliveries and communications.
• Coordinate with sales, aftersales, warehouse and logistics teams for seamless order processing and fulfilment.
• Prepare delivery schedules and ensure all required documentation is complete.
• Maintain and update stock reports, and prepare daily stock and sales reports.
• Create and update customer information, vendor accounts and related data.
• Process payments and invoices, monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Review and verify work orders before billing, submit invoices promptly and keep supporting records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in the construction equipment industry in KSA, with a strong understanding of the local market.
• Strong customer service mindset.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Advantageous: familiarity with stock reporting, invoices, payments, receivables and delivery documentation.
• Excellent communication, organisation, time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work accurately in a busy, fast-paced environment and under pressure.
