Parts Advisor - BYD

About the role

The Parts Advisor at Al-Futtaim Automotive - BYD in KSA identifies, quotes and supplies genuine automotive parts to workshops, retail customers and trade accounts. The role combines commercial sales with disciplined inventory management, affecting workshop efficiency, parts revenue and aftersales profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, quote and supply genuine parts accurately and advise customers on compatibility, alternatives and upsell opportunities
• Achieve monthly targets for parts sales revenue, gross margin and accessory penetration
• Process purchase orders, goods receipts, inter-branch transfers and stock adjustments in the DMS, and run cycle counts and stock takes
• Maintain optimal stock levels, monitor aging and obsolescence, and ensure OEM-compliant storage and labelling
• Supply the workshop on time, coordinate with Service Advisors and Workshop Supervisors on urgent cases, and escalate critical shortages
• Place daily and emergency orders with OEM suppliers, track open orders and backorders, and give accurate ETAs
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on sales, margins and stock health, and comply with OEM parts policies and warranty returns

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Automotive or a related field
• Minimum 2-4 years of parts operations experience in a franchised automotive dealership in KSA or GCC
• Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is essential
• Valid Saudi driving licence preferred

Required skills

• Dealer Management Systems such as SAP, Kerridge, Autoline or equivalent
• OEM electronic parts catalogues (EPC)
• Microsoft Excel for reporting and stock analysis
• Experience with EV or hybrid parts is an advantage
