Cyber Security Analyst – GRC

About the role

JIGPC is seeking a motivated Cyber Security Analyst to support governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) across both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. This early‑career position offers hands‑on experience in strengthening the organization’s cybersecurity posture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and keep the Cybersecurity Risk Register up to date.
• Assist with awareness programs, phishing simulations and security training.
• Participate in security control reviews, audits and compliance initiatives.
• Monitor cybersecurity exceptions and track remediation actions.
• Collaborate with IT and OT teams to embed security best practices.
• Support cybersecurity projects and prepare compliance reports.
• Stay informed on emerging threats, regulations and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity GRC, information security or IT governance.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, Security+, CEH, NIST CSF).
• Understanding of cybersecurity risk management and control frameworks.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and a strong desire to learn.
