Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

RIME is looking for a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to protect and harden its systems, infrastructure, and operations. The ideal candidate will combine deep Linux expertise with strong network and cloud security knowledge to proactively mitigate threats.

Key responsibilities

• Secure RIME’s cloud environments, on‑premise systems, and internal networks through continuous monitoring and hardening.
• Develop, implement, and enforce organization‑wide security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
• Investigate and manage security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and apply long‑term corrective actions.
• Oversee identity and access management, secrets management, and endpoint security configurations.
• Secure CI/CD pipelines, source code repositories, and development workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to embed secure‑by‑design principles into all projects.
• Provide internal training and guidance on security protocols, operational hygiene, and risk awareness.
• Stay informed about emerging threats, attack vectors, and industry intelligence.

Required profile

• Advanced expertise in Linux systems administration and security.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience handling security incidents under pressure.
• Proven experience in fast‑moving startup or technology‑driven environments.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
