Cybersecurity Consultant – Application Architecture

About the role

The Consultant will lead and support cybersecurity activities across Elm, assessing risks, strengthening controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role contributes to secure business operations and the continuous improvement of Elm’s cybersecurity maturity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity governance activities, ensuring alignment with policies, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments for systems, services, and initiatives, identifying gaps and recommending mitigations.
• Assess the effectiveness of security controls and support their continuous improvement.
• Support compliance efforts by collecting evidence, performing gap analyses, and preparing findings for management.
• Provide advisory support to technical and business teams on secure implementation practices.
• Assist with security monitoring, incident response coordination, and vulnerability management.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and performance indicators to track cybersecurity posture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity governance, risk assessment, compliance, or security operations.
• Proven ability to work with stakeholders to implement security requirements and drive remediation.
