Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement and maintain secure, scalable Linux environments for a major project in Riyadh. This full‑time remote position requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure high availability and optimal performance of critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and manage high‑availability enterprise Linux platforms (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Monitor system health, tune performance and resolve complex technical issues to maximise uptime.
• Implement security hardening, manage patch cycles and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
• Automate routine operations using Bash, Python and configuration‑management tools.
• Oversee virtualization platforms and containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in Linux system administration and infrastructure design.
• Currently residing in Riyadh or elsewhere in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama.
• Fluent Arabic speaker.

Required skills

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS.
• Advanced shell scripting (Bash) and Python programming.
• Docker and Kubernetes container technologies.
• Virtualisation platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM).
• Configuration‑management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
