Cybersecurity Expert

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Cybersecurity Expert to lead our security initiatives, strengthen our security posture, and protect critical information assets, systems, and digital services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cybersecurity strategies, policies, standards, and frameworks.
• Lead governance, risk, compliance and security‑operations programs.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate security controls.
• Monitor security events, manage incident response and support cyber‑resilience initiatives.
• Oversee vulnerability management, security assessments and penetration testing.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, NCA ECC and related requirements.
• Manage SIEM, SOC, threat detection and security monitoring capabilities.
• Deliver cybersecurity awareness programs and provide expert guidance.
• Prepare executive reports, dashboards and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 20+ years experience, or Master’s with 15+ years, or PhD with 5+ years.
• Strong expertise in cybersecurity governance, risk management and compliance (GRC).
• Extensive experience in security operations, incident response, threat management and cyber defence.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, GIAC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, Security+, CySA+.
