Cybersecurity Specialist

About the role

The Cybersecurity Specialist will safeguard the organization’s digital assets by continuously monitoring systems and networks for threats. This role works closely with IT teams to ensure robust protection against cyber attacks and to promote a security‑aware culture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor systems, networks and security alerts to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Protect critical systems and data from breaches and cyber attacks.
• Track, analyse and respond to security incidents.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Analyse system logs and security alerts for suspicious activity.
• Raise security awareness among employees through training and communication.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, risks and mitigation actions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to apply best security practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• Practical experience in cybersecurity or information security.
• Strong knowledge of network security concepts and operating systems.
• Familiarity with security protection and monitoring tools such as firewalls, VPNs, SIEM, IDS/IPS.
• Ability to analyse threats and respond effectively.
• Preferred certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP) based on experience level.
• Proficiency in English.
