Cybersecurity Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Team Lead to head our Cybersecurity Engineering function. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise security solutions while providing technical leadership to the team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Cybersecurity Engineering team, assigning tasks, prioritising work and ensuring delivery.
• Own and operate enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, NDR, CTI, IAM/PAM, Encryption, DAM, FIM and Sandbox.
• Plan and execute implementation, configuration, integration, upgrades and health assessments of security technologies.
• Develop and maintain technical standards, architecture documents and operational processes.
• Drive cybersecurity projects from requirements through implementation, testing, hand‑over and support.
• Prepare and manage RFPs/RFQs, evaluate vendors and monitor service level agreements.
• Collaborate with GRC, Risk, SOC, Infrastructure, Network, Cloud and Application teams to address security gaps and support new services.
• Provide advanced technical support for incident response, investigations and security monitoring.
• Continuously review solutions, identify automation opportunities and ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience, including senior engineering or technical leadership roles.
• Proven ability to manage a multidisciplinary security team and deliver complex projects.
