Data Architecture & Modeling Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Architecture & Modeling Specialist to lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise data solutions. The role will focus on creating scalable data architectures, building conceptual, logical, and physical models, and supporting data‑driven transformation initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise data architecture strategies aligned with business and technology goals.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for applications and analytical platforms.
• Create and maintain models using industry‑standard tools such as ERwin or ER/Studio.
• Apply Data Vault and Kimball dimensional modeling methodologies to design data warehouses and data lakes.
• Define data architecture standards, principles, and best practices.
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI teams, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated data solutions.
• Maintain metadata, data lineage, and governance frameworks using tools like Collibra or Alation.
• Support cloud data transformation programs on platforms such as BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Evaluate and recommend data technologies, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.

Required profile

• 6–12+ years of experience in data architecture, modeling, and governance.
• Proven ability to design enterprise‑scale data solutions and lead modernization initiatives.
• Strong communication skills to work with technical and business teams.

Required skills

• ERwin or ER/Studio for enterprise data modeling.
• Data Vault and Kimball dimensional modeling methodologies.
• BigQuery or Snowflake cloud data platforms.
• Teradata data warehouse environments.
• Collibra or Alation for data governance and metadata management.
• Change Data Capture (CDC) tools and real‑time data integration patterns.
