Data Infrastructure Supervisor

About the role

Albawani Holding is seeking a Data Infrastructure Supervisor to lead a technical team responsible for building and maintaining a robust data platform across the Group. The role focuses on Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and the integration of AI/ML capabilities to provide actionable insights for all subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks, monitor deliverables, and mentor data engineers, analysts, and external consultants.
• Design, implement, and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines feeding data into Microsoft Fabric while ensuring data quality and security.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, control access, and support the creation of interactive dashboards.
• Coordinate machine‑learning model deployments and embed predictive outputs into operational workflows.
• Champion generative AI tools such as Copilot to enhance productivity.
• Liaise with business units and vendors, track cloud resource consumption, and drive cost‑efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric or Power BI deployments.
• Proven experience supervising small teams or managing external consultants.
• Microsoft Fabric or Power BI professional certification (highly desirable).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, or a related field; relevant certifications and practical experience are valued.
