Data Management Specialist

About the role

Join sirar by stc, a leading cybersecurity and advanced technology provider, as a Data Management Specialist. You will support the enterprise data management and governance strategy, ensuring data quality, compliance, and effective data sharing across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of the enterprise data management and governance strategy aligned with NDMO.
• Implement and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and operating models.
• Ensure adherence to PDPL and data protection requirements in daily data handling.
• Execute and monitor the data quality program, track KPIs, and support Critical Data Elements (CDEs).
• Manage data sharing requests, documentation, approvals, and records.
• Maintain metadata, data ownership information, catalogs, glossaries, and lineage.
• Support Master Data Management (MDM) activities to improve data consistency.
• Assist with data lifecycle, classification, and retention practices.
• Maintain data governance, catalog, and discovery tools, and update RoPA and privacy documentation.
• Conduct PIA/TIA assessments and review data sharing agreements with Legal.
• Support AI data governance, audit activities, and NDMO compliance assessments.
• Collaborate with business, IT, Security, and Risk teams to enforce governance and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in data governance, quality, or metadata management.
• Familiarity with PDPL and data privacy regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Purview.
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Good understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA‑DMBOK).
