Data Scientist – Women’s First Team Performance Analytics

About the role

The Data Scientist will support Al-Qadsiah Club’s Women’s First Team by turning performance and medical data into actionable insights. You will lead the Athlete Management System (AMS) development, ensuring data quality and delivering visual analytics that drive coaching decisions and injury risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee collection, quality control, and management of performance and medical data (GPS, wellness, force‑plate, injury records, strength diagnostics, training exposure, match performance).
• Maintain and expand the club’s Athlete Management System, integrating multiple data streams.
• Develop and optimise AMS infrastructure, automating data collection and reporting pipelines.
• Create custom dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and AMS reporting interfaces.
• Design clear visualisations for coaches, delivering daily, weekly, and match‑cycle reports on training load, readiness, neuromuscular status, injury risk and physical outputs.
• Integrate physical data with technical and tactical outputs from platforms such as Hudl and Impect, supporting opposition analysis and match review.
• Stay current with emerging research and apply innovative analytical methods to enhance performance insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing and integrating multidisciplinary sports performance data.
• Ability to translate complex datasets into practical recommendations for coaching staff.
• Strong collaboration skills with performance analysts, medical staff and technical teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning and research in sports analytics.
