About the role
The DC Booking Planner will manage inbound and outbound appointment schedules for the Distribution Center, ensuring a balanced workload and optimal dock utilization. This role supports smooth material flow by aligning booking plans with replenishment needs and operational constraints.
Key responsibilities
- Plan daily inbound and outbound booking schedules to maintain balanced workload and dock efficiency.
- Coordinate booking slots with suppliers, transporters, and internal DC teams.
- Align booking plans with replenishment requirements and inventory priorities.
- Monitor booking adherence, arrival times, and schedule changes to identify delays and risks.
- Update booking systems and trackers with confirmed appointments, changes, and cancellations.
- Communicate booking confirmations, adjustments, and constraints to relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze booking performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Resolve booking conflicts and capacity issues in coordination with DC operations and replenishment teams.
- Apply approved booking procedures, planning standards, and governance requirements.
Required profile
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- 0‑2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, transportation, or distribution operations.
