Dean of Nursing College

About the role

The Dean of Nursing College will provide academic and operational leadership for the nursing programmes, ensuring high‑quality education, regulatory compliance and alignment with the institution’s strategic goals. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Riyadh and reports to senior university management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee design, review and continuous improvement of undergraduate and postgraduate nursing curricula.
• Lead accreditation preparation, ensuring compliance with national and international nursing education standards.
• Recruit, mentor and evaluate faculty, fostering a collaborative, student‑centred learning environment.
• Manage the college budget, participate in strategic planning and contribute to institutional governance.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with hospitals, clinics and regulatory bodies for clinical placements and community engagement.
• Represent the college at professional, academic and community forums.

Required profile

• Proven academic leadership experience in nursing education at a college or university.
• Advanced degree in Nursing (Master’s required; Doctorate preferred) and valid professional nursing credentials.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum and programme development for nursing programmes.
• Extensive experience with accreditation processes and compliance.
• Strong record of faculty development, mentoring and performance management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills in a multicultural environment.
