Demand Planner – Forecasting & Inventory Management

About the role

The Demand Planner will develop accurate demand forecasts, analyse sales trends and align demand signals with supply‑chain capacity. Working closely with commercial, marketing and supply‑chain teams, the role ensures optimal inventory levels and supports business growth while maintaining target service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop baseline forecasts using historical data, market trends and seasonal patterns.
• Lead demand‑planning meetings with Sales, Marketing, Retail and Supply Chain to align volume forecasts.
• Monitor Forecast Accuracy and Bias metrics, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate New Product Introductions, promotions and product phase‑in/phase‑out plans with Marketing.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytics reports for management decision‑making.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning and Procurement to align forecasts with production and inventory plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting or supply‑chain analysis, preferably in FMCG, retail or food‑beverage manufacturing.
• Full fluency in spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualisation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis.
