Design Electrical Engineer – MV/LV

About the role

The Design Electrical Engineer – MV/LV will lead the electrical design of medium‑ and low‑voltage systems for power plant, industrial, oil & gas or EPC projects. You will be responsible for delivering accurate engineering documentation and supporting commissioning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams, load schedules, cable schedules and sizing calculations.
• Perform voltage‑drop, short‑circuit, transformer and generator sizing, and protection coordination studies.
• Design earthing, lightning protection, lighting and small‑power systems.
• Develop equipment specifications, datasheets and review IFC, vendor and technical submittal drawings.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, instrumentation and process disciplines.
• Utilise ETAP, AutoCAD and/or EPLAN for design and analysis.
• Support FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning and on‑site technical assistance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical design experience in power generation, oil & gas or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NFPA and NEC standards.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent technical report writing and communication skills.

• FAT, SAT, testing and commissioning support.
