Design Engineer

About the role

The Design Engineer will be responsible for the complete manufacturing documentation and support of Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) units. The role ensures that all engineering data, drawings, and production instructions are accurate and aligned with the production schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Handle complete manufacturing details of RTU units, including drawing corrections and panel assembly.
• Define accessories, drain pans, blanking plates, and coil manufacturing specifications.
• Create and maintain work instructions for production.
• Ensure NC programs are correctly transferred to machines.
• Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and update them with actual sheet‑metal quantities.
• Execute routine engineering tasks to align with the production schedule.
• Control scrap levels and prepare engineering material specification sheets.
• Develop new designs or modify existing RTU designs.
• Document and control engineering changes and modifications.

Required profile

• Experience in design engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage detailed engineering documentation and production data.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
