Hydraulic Technician – Maintenance, Assembly & Repair

About the role

We are seeking a Hydraulic Technician to perform routine maintenance, assembly, troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic equipment used in oil and gas drilling and production. The role ensures that hydraulic systems operate efficiently and safely, supporting the performance of capital equipment such as drawworks, mud pumps, blow‑out preventers and top drive systems.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic equipment.
• Assemble and repair a wide range of capital equipment including drawworks, mud pumps (MP), blow‑out preventers (BOP) and top drive systems (TDS).
• Diagnose faults using schematics, assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Follow HSE policies and best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
• Document work completed and ensure tasks are left in a safe condition.

Required profile

• Proven experience assembling or repairing drawworks, MP, BOP, TDS or roughneck equipment.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic principles and component‑level repair.
• Ability to work from detailed drawings and schematics.
• Commitment to occupational health, safety and environmental standards.
