Design Manager

About the role

The Design Manager is responsible for leading and managing the design process across luxury residential, hospitality, commercial and mixed‑use developments. The role ensures design outcomes align with project vision, strategy, market positioning, operational requirements, approved budget, timeline and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design process across luxury residential, hospitality, commercial and mixed‑use developments.
• Oversee the full design journey from briefing, feasibility and concept development through coordination, authority approvals, tender support, construction and handover.
• Safeguard design intent throughout all project stages while balancing technical requirements, commercial objectives, buildability and long‑term asset value.

Required profile

• Strong design management and coordination skills with the ability to maintain design intent, quality and project vision.
• Good understanding of luxury residential, hospitality, commercial and mixed‑use development requirements.
• Ability to manage consultants, review deliverables and resolve design coordination issues.
• Technical knowledge of architectural design, engineering coordination, authority approvals and construction documentation.
• Commercial awareness to balance design quality, cost, buildability and operational requirements.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, presentation and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail in reviewing drawings, specifications, materials, mockups and technical sub‑submittals.
