Development Operations Engineer

About the role

Rime is looking for a Development Operations Engineer to act as the backbone of our real‑time video and sensor data platform. You will work at the intersection of software engineering and operations, ensuring our systems are stable, fast, and highly available as we scale to hundreds of new client branches.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend services, frontend applications, and AI/computer‑vision models.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform or Ansible, guaranteeing reproducibility and scalability.
• Improve developer experience by reducing build times, streamlining local environments, and removing operational bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with the AI team to automate the full ML lifecycle from training to production deployment.
• Integrate security testing (SAST/DAST) and secure secrets management (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager) into deployment pipelines.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Deep practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience embedding security checks and managing secrets in automated workflows.
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts and the challenges of deploying AI/computer‑vision models.
