Digital Infrastructure & Cloud Lead

About the role

The Digital Infrastructure & Cloud Lead is responsible for delivering and operating the company’s cloud and on‑premise infrastructure platforms. The role combines hands‑on provisioning, infrastructure‑as‑code, automation and observability to ensure stable, secure and reproducible environments that support reliable application delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cloud and on‑premise infrastructure using approved IaC templates, provisioning resources, networks, storage and platform services.
• Deploy and validate development, test, staging and production environments through repeatable pipelines, guaranteeing environment parity.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts, IaC modules and deployment pipelines to reduce manual effort and enable self‑service provisioning.
• Create automated operational playbooks for configuration‑drift remediation, patching and self‑healing.
• Implement observability (metrics, logs, traces), build dashboards, set alerts and tune thresholds for proactive issue detection.
• Perform performance analysis and tuning, contribute to capacity forecasting and right‑sizing.
• Apply platform hardening, patching, backup, recovery and disaster‑recovery procedures; enforce security baselines.
• Act as escalation point for L2/L3 incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive resolution.
• Provide regular operational updates, maintain runbooks, configuration baselines and knowledge‑base documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud/infrastructure engineering or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.

Required skills

• Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) concepts and templates.
• Automation scripting and deployment pipeline development.
• Observability implementation (metrics, logs, traces) and monitoring dashboard creation.
• Performance tuning of compute, storage and network resources.
• Security hardening, patch management, backup and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Incident response and L2/L3 troubleshooting.
