Director, GCC Education Investments – Private Equity

About the role

The client, a leading investment manager in the GCC, is creating a new education investments vertical. As Director, you will design and scale the strategy, targeting education platforms worldwide and working closely with senior leadership throughout the investment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the education investment strategy across origination, due diligence, valuation, execution and portfolio management.
• Identify thematic opportunities in global education markets and drive value creation across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with senior investment professionals to shape the firm’s approach to education assets.
• Lead transaction processes from sourcing to closing and oversee ongoing portfolio performance.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in top‑tier private equity, investment banking or a comparable investment platform with exposure to the education sector.
• Proven track record of sourcing, executing and managing investments across the full deal lifecycle.
• Deep understanding of global education market trends, business models and value drivers.
• Strong leadership experience building or scaling investment strategies within an institutional setting.
• Ability to operate in a high‑performing, entrepreneurial environment and engage senior stakeholders.
