Director, Middle East People Lead

About the role

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director, Middle East People Lead to join its Global People Organisation. Based in Riyadh, Dubai or Abu Dhabi, you will partner with senior leadership to shape people strategy across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders on all employee‑life‑cycle matters.
• Co‑design and implement regional People strategies aligned with global objectives.
• Lead and deliver People projects specific to the Middle East market.
• Coach and mentor the regional People team to build capability.
• Develop, enforce and update policies ensuring compliance with local labour laws.
• Oversee People operations, including Workday HRIS, payroll and service level agreements.
• Drive automation and operational efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• 10+ years progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing multi‑regional teams in a matrixed, international environment.
• Deep knowledge of Middle East labour regulations, preferably within professional services.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
