Director of Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Director of Finance & Accounting acts as the strategic financial leader for the property, shaping and executing finance strategies that support the brand’s service objectives and maximise return on investment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement property‑wide financial strategies aligned with the brand’s business plan.
• Create and manage the annual operating budget, forecasting sales, expenses and wage costs.
• Analyse cost‑benefit of new business opportunities and recommend profit‑improving actions.
• Monitor actual performance against forecasts, identifying cost‑saving and productivity opportunities.
• Maintain strong accounting and operational controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting teams, communicating strategic goals clearly.
• Provide analytical support during budget reviews and produce accurate financial forecasts.
• Analyse financial data and market trends to inform decision‑making.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, OR a master’s degree in the same fields with no experience required.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
• Proven decision‑making and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
