Director of Financial Planning & Reporting / Director FP&A

About the role

A large public‑sector organization in Jeddah is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Reporting / FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. The newly created position reports directly to the CFO and will shape evidence‑based decision‑making at the highest level.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process and long‑range financial forecasting
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions
• Drive revenue diversification, cost optimisation and resource allocation initiatives
• Prepare and deliver management reports, dashboards and KPI analysis for senior leadership and the Board
• Monitor performance against budget, explain variances and advise on corrective actions
• Assess the financial viability of new programmes and capital investments
• Build and lead a high‑performing financial planning and reporting team

Required profile

• Saudi national (essential) with genuine home/family ties to Jeddah
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred; CPA/CMA a plus)
• 10+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis and reporting, including 5+ years in senior leadership
• Hands‑on experience in financial modelling and scenario analysis

Required skills

• Power BI or similar business‑intelligence/dashboarding tool

What we offer

• Total compensation up to SAR 50,000 per month, inclusive of housing and transport
• Performance bonus equivalent to up to four months’ salary
