Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Riyadh office. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Monitor company expenses, payments, invoices and financial transactions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi accounting standards, VAT regulations and ZATCA requirements.
• Assist with VAT filings, tax documentation and statutory reporting.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost allocation.
• Support payroll accounting and employee expense reimbursements.
• Assist with internal and external audits and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within Saudi Arabia.
• Good knowledge of Saudi Arabian accounting practices, VAT and ZATCA regulations.
• Experience in facilities management, construction, engineering or service‑based industries is advantageous.
• SOCPA membership or relevant professional accounting certification is an advantage.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
