Director of Group Accounting

About the role

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for an experienced Director of Group Accounting to lead its accounting function across the group. You will be responsible for consolidating financial statements, ensuring IFRS compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the group accounting team to produce consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS and local standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Oversee timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to the executive team.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards, assess impact, and drive necessary updates.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop accounting professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, ACCA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in group accounting, including senior leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, financial consolidation and regulatory compliance.
• Strong strategic, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven track record of leading high‑performing teams and managing complex reporting environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
