Director of Hospitality Projects – Technical Services

About the role

Red Sea Global Hospitality is seeking a Director to lead the technical execution of residential hospitality projects from pre‑opening through post‑opening. You will ensure that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, building automation, fire‑alarm and CCTV installations are fully operational, compliant, and ready for seamless handover to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Project Delivery team to develop realistic schedules and drive technical completion of hotels.
• Conduct snagging audits, coordinate defect resolution, and validate handovers to meet operational deadlines.
• Create and execute pre‑opening checklists for all technical systems, guaranteeing 100% functionality before launch.
• Track and monitor post‑opening pending works, testing & commissioning, and training to ensure timely completion.
• Support the operator team during handover and ongoing operations.
• Identify technical risks, develop contingency plans, and mitigate issues related to delayed handovers or system failures.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading technical pre‑opening and post‑opening activities in luxury hospitality projects.
• Strong ability to work across construction, technical, and operational teams.
• High attention to detail, commitment to quality, and passion for delivering luxury developments.
