Director of Operations – Fashion

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to lead and optimise all operational aspects of our fast‑growing fashion retail business. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on management of stores, supply chain, inventory, customer experience and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies that drive growth and profitability, translating corporate objectives into actionable plans.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations across all retail stores and sales channels, ensuring consistent standards, policies and procedures.
• Lead inventory planning, allocation and replenishment, working closely with merchandising, buying and logistics to minimise stock shortages.
• Analyse operational and sales performance metrics, support promotional campaigns and implement initiatives to improve revenue and reduce costs.
• Ensure an exceptional customer experience by establishing service‑excellence standards and acting on feedback.
• Lead, mentor and develop regional and store management teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Manage operational budgets, monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with company policies, health‑and‑safety and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 10–15 years of progressive retail operations experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the fashion industry.
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence, improving productivity and delivering strong financial results.
• Excellent commercial mindset and ability to translate strategy into execution.
