Director of Operations

About the role

The Director of Operations will act as the strategic business leader for a hotel on Shura Island, overseeing all core operational areas. Reporting to senior ownership, the role ensures brand standards, guest satisfaction, and financial performance are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute property‑wide operational strategies aligned with brand objectives.
• Manage profitability by analyzing guest satisfaction drivers, service trends, and financial results.
• Monitor revenue performance, occupancy, rates, wages, and controllable expenses against budget.
• Lead department heads across Front Office, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Review guest feedback, address service issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Foster positive owner relations and ensure compliance with brand service initiatives.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales & marketing, or operations management.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and drive financial results.
