About the role
As Director of People & Culture, you will be the guardian of Faena’s soul on the property, shaping a workplace where purpose, artistry, and performance coexist. Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead the people strategy from pre‑opening through ongoing operations, ensuring every colleague experience reflects Faena’s values while honoring Saudi culture and national priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Build and embed a distinctive People & Culture strategy that translates Faena’s ethos into daily rituals and behaviors.
- Design onboarding, storytelling, and engagement moments that turn standards into lived experiences.
- Foster an inclusive, respectful, and inspiring workplace where colleagues feel seen, valued, and proud.
- Lead full‑cycle recruitment for pre‑opening, with a strong focus on Saudi nationals.
- Partner with leadership to design workforce plans, organizational structures, and succession pathways.
- Oversee pre‑opening training frameworks, culture immersion, and leadership readiness.
- Champion Saudization and national talent development in line with Vision 2030 and local regulations.
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi labor law, GOSI, Mudad, Qiwa, and related regulatory requirements.
- Act as trusted liaison with government entities and external partners.
- Create learning journeys that develop leadership capability, service excellence, and technical mastery.
- Implement fair, transparent performance‑management frameworks and coach leaders.
- Oversee employee relations, wellbeing, grievance processes, and ethical standards.
- Drive people analytics and data integrity to support informed decision‑making.
Required profile
- Saudi national with strong cultural fluency and deep understanding of the Saudi labor environment.
- Senior HR/People & Culture experience, preferably in hospitality or fast‑growth settings.
- Proven track record in designing and executing people strategies that align global brand culture with local identity.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and navigate regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
