Director of Reservations (Hotel)

About the role

The Director of Reservations will lead the Reservations Department at Mövenpick Hotel & Residence Hajar Tower Makkah, ensuring accurate booking management, optimal inventory control, and exceptional guest service during peak periods such as Hajj, Ramadan, and Umrah.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Reservations Department, guaranteeing accurate processing of all bookings and adherence to brand standards.
• Supervise the reservation team, monitor queues, and maintain high response times, including handling VIP, group, and complex requests.
• Manage room inventory in partnership with Revenue Management, ensuring correct availability across all channels and coordinating room releases during high‑demand periods.
• Maintain and configure Opera PMS and Accor reservation systems, ensuring data integrity and smooth channel connectivity.
• Support the Director of Revenue Management by tracking pickup trends and assisting with pricing strategy implementation.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in hotel reservations or a similar hospitality function.
• Strong collaboration skills with Revenue Management, Sales, Front Office, and Distribution teams.
• Ability to manage high‑volume periods and maintain service excellence under pressure.
