Director of Reservations

About the role

The Director of Reservations will lead the Reservations Department at Mövenpick Hotel & Residence Hajar Tower Makkah, ensuring accurate booking processing, optimal inventory control, and exceptional guest service, especially during high‑demand periods such as Hajj, Ramadan and Umrah.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Reservations Department, ensuring accurate processing and brand‑standard compliance.
• Supervise reservation team, monitor queues, and maintain high service standards, including handling VIP, group and complex bookings.
• Manage room inventory in partnership with Revenue Management, coordinate releases during Hajj, Ramadan and peak periods, and control over‑booking.
• Maintain and configure Opera PMS and Accor reservation systems, ensure channel connectivity and data integrity across all distribution platforms.
• Support the Director of Revenue Management by monitoring pickup trends and assisting with pricing strategy implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a reservations team within a hotel environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and high‑demand periods such as Hajj, Ramadan and Umrah.
• Ability to collaborate with Revenue Management, Sales, Front Office and Distribution teams.
