Director of Residences

About the role

The Director of Residences will lead the branded‑residence portfolio at Rosewood Amaala, ensuring seamless integration of residential services with the hotel operation and delivering the brand’s Forbes Five‑Star experience to owners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑opening strategy and operational readiness for the residences.
• Develop and enforce residential policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
• Partner with Development and Technical Services to embed operational requirements in design and handover.
• Establish service level agreements between residences and hotel departments.
• Serve as primary liaison for owners, managing communications, community engagement and satisfaction programs.
• Oversee daily operations including concierge, butler, housekeeping, engineering, security and lifestyle services.
• Maintain Forbes Five‑Star service standards and Rosewood brand guidelines.
• Prepare and manage operating budgets, reserve plans, expense monitoring and financial reporting.
• Drive revenue opportunities such as rental programmes and support homeowners association formation.

Required profile

• Minimum 120 months (10 years) of experience in luxury hospitality or branded‑residence management.
• Proven leadership in pre‑opening and operational readiness of high‑end properties.
• Strong track record of owner relationship management and community engagement.
• Experience preparing budgets, financial reporting and overseeing vendor contracts.
