Director of Vendor Operations

About the role

We are looking for a visionary leader to build and scale Hungerstation’s Vendor Operations function. The Director will own the full vendor lifecycle—from onboarding and compliance to performance management, quality, experience, and support—across restaurants, groceries, convenience stores, pharmacies and other verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the vendor operations strategy, translating business goals into measurable performance initiatives.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with local and global teams to improve vendor experience, customer satisfaction and rider efficiency.
• Establish benchmarks and KPIs (reliability, availability, order timing, NPS, CSAT) and provide regular performance reports and insights to senior management.
• Analyze data, identify trends and launch data‑driven enhancements to optimise vendor performance and platform growth.
• Own the delivery of premium vendor experiences, manage service levels, conduct audits, root‑cause analyses and continuous improvement cycles.
• Maintain the knowledge base, SOPs and feedback loops between vendors and internal teams.
• Oversee vendor‑related systems, including configurations, integrations, pricing, marketing tools and vendor portals, ensuring availability, reliability and usability.
• Partner with product and technology teams to influence system design and drive adoption through training programs.

Required profile

• Proven senior leader with a track record of building and scaling vendor or partner operations in a fast‑growing marketplace.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with analytical rigor and execution discipline.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to inspire and develop high‑performing teams.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience turning insights into operational improvements.
