Director, Specialist Sales - SME Solutions

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director, Specialist Sales – SME Solutions to lead its SME sales cluster across Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Bahrain. Based in Riyadh, you will act as a trusted advisor to financial and non‑financial partners, driving growth and profitability for the SME segment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SME growth strategies, combining sales leadership with strategic advisory support.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline, conducting on‑site client interactions, needs assessments and solution positioning.
• Identify, originate and convert new business opportunities and develop ecosystem plays for SME customers.
• Drive commercialization of signed deals to achieve measurable revenue outcomes.
• Contribute to SME P&L objectives across the KJB cluster, aligned with regional sales priorities.
• Identify product, proposition and business‑innovation opportunities within SME payment segments.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise, shaping strategic recommendations and leading end‑to‑end execution with internal teams.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team culture.

Required profile

• Strategic, consultative mindset with ability to act as a trusted advisor.
• Proven senior sales leadership experience in financial services or payments.
• Strong execution discipline and ability to manage complex, cross‑border initiatives.
• Experience working with financial institutions and non‑financial partners.
• Ability to influence and drive results across Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Bahrain.
