Drilling Rig Foreman (Rig-Less) - Rigless Completion Operations

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a Drilling Rig Foreman (Rig-Less) for Saudi Aramco's well completion operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The incumbent supervises field operations on land and/or offshore well completion sites, whether contractor or Saudi Aramco owned, and has direct responsibility for drilling or working over wells across the Kingdom and its territorial waters. The role covers wells below 15,000 feet or wells complicated by pressure above 10,000 psi, sour gas, high deviation or cost exceeding $10 million, and involves protecting the safety of up to 100 rig crew members and equipment worth millions of dollars.

Key responsibilities

• Perform unit-level supervision at remote well sites on a 24-hour-a-day basis, 14 days on, 7 days off.
• Direct all well operations safely and in line with the Well Completion program and approved standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate ordering of materials, equipment and services, document receipt and use of Saudi Aramco-supplied items, and review service company field tickets for accuracy of charges.
• Ensure Saudi Aramco blowout prevention standards and safety standards are met, including equipment configuration, testing and crew response.
• On sites contracted to Saudi Aramco, ensure compliance with the contract terms and conditions.
• Submit a complete daily report of work progress and promote cost-saving ideas for operational optimization.
• Provide on-the-job training to less experienced personnel.
• Manage a team of technicians and operators, coordinate with field personnel and other departments, monitor well performance and recommend interventions, maintain operational records and reports, and conduct risk assessments with mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or high school completion with ITC in English, ERW, Math and MI.
• 10 years of experience in well completion activities and high-pressure oil and gas wells, or 15 years under the alternative education path.
• Proven ability to handle operational responsibilities on critical wells, with sound judgment, dependability, honesty and leadership.
