Early Childhood Education Teacher

About the role

The Early Childhood Education/KG Teacher will join Abdulaziz International School – Al‑Sulaimaniah in Riyadh, delivering the SABIS® curriculum to young learners. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on fostering early literacy, numeracy and social‑emotional development in a safe, inclusive classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate lessons that develop literacy, numeracy and social‑emotional skills.
• Create engaging learning activities and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Observe, document and assess each child’s progress and share insights with families and school leadership.
• Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on student development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement the SABIS® curriculum and participate in professional development.
• Support school events and initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education and Child Development.
• Demonstrated teaching experience in diverse, multicultural classroom settings.
• Competence in curriculum development and planning structured learning experiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
• Effective classroom management, communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in English as the primary language of instruction and commitment to child safeguarding and ongoing professional growth.
