EH&S Supervisor for Power Transmission Projects

About the role

Air Products is seeking an experienced EH&S Supervisor to lead safety and environmental management for a 380kV substation, underground cable and OHTL project in Duba. The role requires strong leadership, emergency response capability, and deep knowledge of transmission‑line safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the project EH&S plan and promote a total safety culture.
• Coach EH&S team members and contractors, support HAZID and emergency response processes.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, permit‑to‑work, LOTO and safety equipment checks.
• Review contractor JSA and risk assessments, ensure mitigation measures are in place.
• Report incidents promptly and act as a member of the site emergency response team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental, health & safety or related field.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years EH&S experience on substation and OHTL transmission projects.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards and regulations for power transmission.
• Fluent in spoken and written English, physically fit for onsite work.
