Electrical Repair Technician

About the role

Lucid is seeking an Electrical Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, install and maintain electrical systems across its vehicle production environment. The role ensures safe and efficient operation of wiring, circuits and control components while adhering to all relevant codes and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, panels, and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.
• Install electrical components such as switches, VCU, BCM, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Test electrical systems using meters, testers, and diagnostic tools.
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes.
• Document repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians.
• Respond to emergency repair requests and perform on‑call duties when required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment.
• Trim‑DE trim cars in readiness to fit or remove electrical components.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical repair.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Physical ability to lift 20–25 kg, work at heights, in confined spaces and varying temperatures.
• Willingness to work overtime or on‑call shifts.

Required skills

• Electrical repair and troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of low‑voltage and high‑voltage systems.
• Experience with VCU, BCM, switches and control systems.
