Electroencephalogram Technician

About the role

The Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technician will join Andalusia Health KSA in Jeddah on a full‑time, on‑site basis. You will be responsible for performing EEG studies and related neuro‑diagnostic procedures, ensuring high‑quality recordings for physician interpretation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for EEG studies, explain the procedure and obtain consent.
• Apply and position electrodes according to established adult and pediatric protocols.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain EEG equipment to capture accurate, interpretable data.
• Document patient information, test conditions, and results in the electronic medical record.
• Assist neurologists by providing organized EEG reports and supporting continuous service improvement.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals while adhering to infection‑control and safety standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Neurodiagnostic Technology, EEG Technology, or a related allied‑health field.
• Professional registration or licensing in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
• Prior experience in an EEG or neurodiagnostic department, especially in a hospital setting, is an advantage.
• Strong patient‑care orientation with clear communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is beneficial.
• Attention to detail in documentation and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
