Elementary Homeroom Teacher

About the role

Saud International School is seeking a warm, patient and organized Elementary Homeroom Teacher to lead a vibrant early‑years classroom. You will create a safe, stimulating environment where young learners feel confident and motivated to explore through play‑based and structured activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging preschool lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Foster a caring classroom atmosphere that supports literacy, numeracy, communication, motor, social and emotional development.
• Design age‑appropriate worksheets, displays, learning corners and hands‑on experiences.
• Maintain consistent routines, behavior expectations and positive student engagement.
• Observe, assess and record student progress, providing targeted support as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents, coordinators and school leadership about student development.
• Utilise the school’s LMS and academic systems for record‑keeping and reporting.
• Support school events, assemblies and early years programmes, collaborating with teaching assistants and the academic team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, English or a related field.
• Early years teaching qualification or relevant professional certification (preferred).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably with preschool or early‑years students.
• Strong classroom management skills suitable for young children.
• Excellent command of English and effective communication abilities.
• Patient, caring, responsible and professional attitude toward young learners.
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow school policies and procedures.
