English Lecturer/Instructor (Male) – Preparatory Year Program

About the role

The Preparatory Year Program at Prince Sultan University seeks a qualified English Lecturer/Instructor (Male) to teach and support students transitioning from high school to university level.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 20 contact hours per semester to preparatory year students across A1–B1 CEFR levels.
• Develop and deliver curriculum, assessments, and course materials.
• Participate in academic committees, curriculum development, and student support activities.
• Utilize educational technology and information systems for teaching, assessment, and course management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, English Language Teaching or a closely related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in English or related field with a recognized postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g., CELTA).
• Experience teaching English at university or preparatory program level, preferably A1–B1 CEFR.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills for diverse, mixed‑ability classes.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) for all teaching and advising duties.
